uploading gpx files

I try and upload gpx files from my garmin device and they sometimes work and sometimes don't with the message:

The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorrect. Parameter 6 ("@speed"): The supplied value is not a valid instance of data type real. Check the source data for invalid values. An example of an invalid value is data of numeric type with scale greater than precision.

I check the xml in the garmin file and it looks OK - ie. no rogue data or corrupted data....

Any ideas?

It works fine with the application that ships with the device, Google Map. Why would I want to buy another GPS device when I already have one? If Google Map can make it work, and a lot of other applications, so should SportsDo.

upload activity failed

I'm just trying out Sportsdo. After going for a walk the application is not uploading the data.

what it actually says is

The phone is a sony ericsson k610i.

I suspect it isn't a network problem because the live data was posted onto the activities page of the website.

Any ideas? If this worked it would be a great product.

Following up my own thread - I have bypassed the main issues above by simply saving the two files from my storage card to my desktop and uploading them fromt he portal itself. However, I still seem to have the issue about the software continuing to run (as a process) even after I have used the Task manager to close the software down. This drains the bettery. Any thoughts?

@maf66, the internal bluetooth works fine for me with both TomTom and the Google Maps application.

Upload Error

I have a Samsung Omnia - the software works well, but when I try and upload I get the following message:

Error while uploading files
Success
an error message cannot be displayed because an
optional resource assembly
containing it cannot be
found

ALSO - can I export the files off the phone somehow?

ALSO - the sportdDo process seems to still run AFTER I have closed the software down in TASK MANAGER. I can't kill this process using my phone. Samsung say it is a 'software' issue. I have to 'soft reset' my phone after using SportsDo.

As the title says really - has anyone tested the app on a Sony Ericcson c905? I saw someone had it working on a c702, so I guess thats a good sign?

Holding off buying the phone until I know I can get some sort of tracker for running sorted for it
