Explore our world in a new light with SportsDo at your side

Adventuring

It's easier than ever to get away to far-off lands – and that means the world's most breathtaking landscapes and challenging journeys are in your grasp.

I'm not a tourist, but a traveller. I like to share my adventures with friends, family and anyone who's interested in independent travel. SportsDo makes the ideal journey companion. It works on my phone to tell me where I am, where I've been, how fast I'm going and lots of other things.

Always by your side

SportsDo traces my route as I travel, whatever my mode of transport. I can be on a bus crossing the desert or walking the Great Wall of China and SportsDo will tell me my exact location, speed and distance travelled. It uses the global GPS satellite system so it works wherever I go. All the information it gives me is live and accurate.

Personal travel journal

SportsDo remembers all the details it tracks, storing them on my phone. I can analyse my activities on graphs and charts generated on the phone, or load the information on to the SportsDo portal for even more features.

I have my own log pages on the portal. SportsDo automatically loads up my pictures to the log, and – get this – anchors them to a detailed map. So not only do I have my pictures published on the web with no fuss, they're also related to the places where they were taken. I can add text comments too, so the log acts as a complete journal of my adventures. SportsDo even records the songs I was listening to!

Works anywhere you go

SportsDo works without phone coverage, but when I've got a signal I can use SportsDo Live to transmit regular updates of my progress to the web. This way friends back home – and other travellers I meet along the way – can see what I'm up to whenever they like. SportsDo handles the updates in the background, using just a few packets of data.

Keeping in touch with home

I can even include people in my travels by using Text Buddies to send regular text messages containing my key stats, so people who can't get to the web can stay in touch. I've been using this a lot with folks I meet up with on the road – we can follow each other's progress without making lots of calls or thumbing lots of texts.

Relive your adventures

When I'm back home I can relive my adventures through my log and I can even take virtual flights along my routes using Google Earth. SportsDo uses my activity information to “drive” Google Earth so my virtual flight is a completely accurate recreation of my trip.

With SportsDo I'm living my life as a real adventure – and sharing my passion for travel.
